Free Internship Programme for College Students
Real experience, mentoring and a certificate — with no fee at any stage.
About the programme
ShikshaNova Foundation offers free, learning-based internships to students of colleges we partner with. Interns work alongside our team on education, life skills, digital and AI awareness, communication and field-programme support, and build practical experience that helps in their first job.
The programme is coordinated from our Bihar office at Nokha, Rohtas, and is open to partner colleges across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Specific areas, duration and the mode (on campus, field or online) are confirmed with each college and batch before it starts.
We never charge for internships
ShikshaNova Foundation does not take any registration, training, certificate or placement fee from interns or colleges. If anyone asks you for money in our name, please do not pay and report it to info@shikshanovafoundation.org.
What interns receive
Practical experience
Supervised tasks and projects linked to our programmes, not just observation.
Mentoring
Guidance from our team on communication, workplace behaviour and career planning.
Certificate
A certificate of completion for interns who meet the attendance and task requirements of their batch.
Eligible interns may receive placement support through our job placement programme. Placement support is not a guarantee of a job.
How it works
1. Partner
A college signs an MOU or writes to us to host the programme.
2. Apply
Students fill in the application form below.
3. Screening
Our team reviews applications and contacts selected students.
4. Intern & certify
Interns complete the batch and receive their certificate.
Who can apply
- Students aged 18 or above, enrolled in a college, university, polytechnic or ITI.
- Students of partner colleges are given priority; others may be considered as seats allow.
- Willingness to commit the time and follow the instructions of the batch.
Terms in plain words
- The internship is voluntary, unpaid and for learning. It is not employment, and no stipend is paid unless we state it in writing.
- Selection is based on the application and our needs. Applying does not guarantee a seat.
- Whether your college gives academic credit or accepts the internship is decided by your college, not by us. Please check with your college.
- Interns must follow the Foundation's code of conduct and keep beneficiaries' and partners' information confidential.
